I plan to use this blog to link to interesting things I've read and provide my thoughts on them. Professionally I tend to find long-term trends, international relations, U.S. politics/policies, technology, and East Asia quite interesting. Personally I'm also quite fond of science fiction, comics, action movies, and a fair amount of anime. Sports-wise I follow the Baltimore Orioles, but if you're looking for insightful sports commentary, keep looking.
I'm a think tank researcher by trade, although a low ranking one. Everything I say here reflects my own opinion and not the venerable yet nameless institution that gives me a biweekly paycheck.
