Quick Sick Blogging

First off, hello to any readers from the Achenblog. My thanks to my favorite humor/science columnist for the link.

Have a cold and generally am kinda out of it, so here’s a few quick comments.

1. I’m pleased with the results from Iowa. Obama wins it. Edwards comes in strongand Clinton is going to have to start running more on agenda and less on inevitability. All and all, a bad day for hawks.
2. Huckabee’s win also pleases me. Also Giuliani got creamed. I dunno if a full on civil war in the Republican party between the moneycons and the theocons is possible, but man would that be fun to watch. Regardless, I can’t wait to see how the Republican establishment will strike back.
3. Ron Paul apparently manages to get rallies in World of Warcraft. I think Azeroth is a monarchy, although that’s just off the games, so he’s not likely to win for President there. His followers should perhaps check out FFXI where Bastok is nominally a republic, although they’ve yet to have an election. Alternately they should consider pooling their efforts in Second Life and building an underwater city called Rapture.
