Google docs has forms which means another way to potentially do polling and the like.  I think this might still be a bit too early in beta to be worthwhile, but I'm giving it a try.

[Update: Meh, this actually turns out to be comparatively lame for the purposes of polling. It probably would work for linked polls, but I think for embeds the tech needs to mature more.]
